1. General service information
The website certradis.com offers certified translations performed by professional certified translators. Services include translation of official documents from Spanish to English and vice versa, as well as other types of translations upon client request. This service is available to individuals and legal entities in any country.
The certradis.com service is provided by iDISC México SC (hereinafter, iDISC). In accordance with rule 5.2.1.1 of NMX-COE-001-SCFI-2018, the following applies:

2. Registration and account creation
Creating an account is not required to request services. The personal information required includes name, postal address, phone number and email address, depending on the type of delivery (physical or digital).
3. Intellectual property
Users acknowledge that they own the translations they commission. iDISC protects the information in the documents provided by users, who agree to make legitimate use of the translations.
4. Responsibilities and disclaimers
iDISC is responsible for the quality of the translations and their certification. Users must provide genuine and verifiable documents. iDISC assumes no responsibility for the acceptance of the translation by specific authorities, nor for errors arising from the original documents.
iDISC will not be liable for indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages (including loss of profits, business interruption or loss of data) resulting from the use of the translation services. iDISC’s total liability will be limited to the total amount paid by the user for the services purchased and claimed within 12 months of the delivery date.
iDISC advises that, during the process of receiving and processing photos or document files to carry out the work, it uses various tools such as OCR text recognition, computer-assisted translation tools, translation memories, glossaries, terminology databases, AI, office software, as well as electronic means for storage and communication, such as email and others.
Without prejudice to guaranteeing rigor and care in the handling of the information contained in the files, the user accepts the use of the tools described in the preceding paragraph, releasing iDISC from any liability in the event that third-party software used for these purposes poses any security or information risk not attributable to the service provider, for which all possible information will be provided to the affected user in order to verify this situation.
5. Privacy and confidentiality policy
Personal data will be handled in accordance with the privacy, confidentiality and security policies published on the website, which will be kept up to date and available to users at all times. By accepting these terms, the user also accepts the cookie policy and the information on data protection:

Personal data provided by users will be processed in accordance with the Federal Law for the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), articles 15, 16, 23, 24, 25 and other applicable provisions, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as well as rule 8.1 of NMX-COE-001-SCFI-2018, as applicable, which will be kept up to date and available to users at all times. Data will be used solely for the provision of the requested service and will be retained for as long as necessary to comply with legal and administrative purposes.
Information shared by the user with iDISC will be treated as confidential information. iDISC agrees to maintain the strictest confidentiality, and not to use, except for the provision of the service itself, nor disclose, transfer, or reveal, directly or indirectly, to any person or entity, any confidential information without the user’s prior written authorization.
The user agrees that they may be contacted regarding any matter related to the service through the means of communication they provide to iDISC.
6. Cancellation and termination
iDISC reserves the right to suspend or cancel access to the service in the event of suspected unlawful activities. Refunds will be granted only cases errors attributable to the translation, subject to prior evaluation and agreement between the parties, within a period of thirty calendar days.
The user will have the time limits provided for in article 56 of the Federal Consumer Protection Law to revoke their consent regarding the transaction, applied as relevant to services.
7. Dispute resolution
Any dispute will be sought to be resolved in the first instance, through conciliation using the contact methods available on the site.
If the matter is not resolved through the above means, the applicable jurisdiction will be that of the courts in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico, after exhausting the alternative dispute resolution methods, in accordance with the applicable legislation.
8. Modifications and updates
The terms of use are subject to change without prior notice. Users may consult the updated version on the site when carrying out transactions.
By using this site, the user declares that they are aware of and accept these terms and conditions of use, which comply with the requirements of the Mexican standard NMX-COE-001-SCFI-2018, ELECTRONIC COMMERCE-PROVISIONS TO WHICH PERSONS OFFERING, MARKETING, OR SELLING GOODS, PRODUCTS, OR SERVICES SHALL BE SUBJECT.
